Created 15 years ago in Vanessa’s studio. At the time, they were an intuitive response to a desire for something elemental: calm, minimal, primitive. What feels striking now is how relevant that instinct has become. Created by hand, slowly and intuitively. Imperfections, restraint and simplicity are part of the language. Fifteen years later, the artist’s desire to create from this place has only deepened. Perhaps that is what makes this collection release feel so timely.
